# Link Auditor (link_audit)

Deterministic link auditor, no model. For each item it fetches the URL, follows redirects hop by hop, checks the final target and an optional anchor, and returns one finding with a verdict from `ok`, `broken`, `redirect_problem`, `target_mismatch`, `unverifiable` plus evidence.

Rules: a blocked or timed-out fetch is `unverifiable`, never `broken`; `target_mismatch` only when the request stated an expected target; no login, no JavaScript execution; redirect cap, timeout and byte cap are listed in every result's `limitations`.
